Class 101 Hanks Gas Savings for Beginners

Hanks Class 101 Gas Savings for Beginners

BASELINE
You HAVE to get a BASELINE on what you are actually using or you can’t even begin to
Start SAVING at the PUMP.
First thing is go to a site like
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/
Look this page over real good and find the section
Bottom LEFT SIDE of page “YOUR MPG”
Calculate and Share 'Your MPG' (ENTER)
Register - NAME - PASSWORD (find a to keep this info handy)
Now you will be able to enter as many cars and keep track of your MPG
And print out if you want a chart and info on what you are actually getting
With your CAR.
The hardest part is making sure you are entering the right model. You might
Have to get help with this but it will pay off in the future to do it right and
Not just Quick.
Now the next step is filling up at the pump. Fill the tank until it clicks off
And don’t pull the trigger again. Get a paper copy of the cost and put the
Miles you have on your car at this time at the top of the receipt. I also put
The gallons and price in case the print copy goes bad before I enter the information.
Now you can start to get some Fantastic Information on MILE PER GALLON (MPG)
On what your car is actually doing at this point and time. We will go over the why
It will look like a mountain range but it’s a start in SAVING FUEL.
Congrats

The best way to help fuel cost is get the builders of cars realize speed and higher rpm is way out there.speed and rpm also are a danger on our roads

The builders of cars are in business to give the customer what he desires. That is why the SUV was developed after the Oil Shortage back in the 1970's.

IT is really up to US, You & Me and the rest of the world to SLOW DOWN and LIVE and also SAVE the FUEL. You can SAVE today and not wait for a NEW CAR by just staying under 60 MPH SPEED..

As a rule of thumb, you can assume that each 5 mph you drive over 60 mph is like paying an additional $0.20 per gallon for gas.

That is just one way to SAVE FUEL TODAY and not wait for the goverment or car mfg to do it for you.

Spot doesn't like fast drivers in the city either, as its to hard to cross the street
